Crisis Residential Services

Mid-State Health Network (MSHN), a Michigan Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan (PIHP) organization, is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP’s) seeking bids to partner with a qualified crisis residential provider to deliver crisis residential services to rural and/or underserved areas in Region 5. The CMHSP Participants  in Region 5 include  Bay-Arenac Behavioral Health, Clinton-Eaton-Ingham Community Mental Health Authority, Community Mental Health for  Central Michigan, Gratiot Integrated Health Network, Tuscola Behavioral Health, Huron Behavioral Health, The Right Door for Hope, Recovery, and Wellness, LifeWays Community Mental Health Authority, Montcalm Care Network, Newaygo County Community Mental Health Authority, Saginaw County Community Mental Health Authority, and Shiawassee Health and Wellness.   

MSHN is seeking sealed proposals from interested and qualified Providers that possess the capacity, infrastructure, and organizational competence to deliver to eligible individuals, Crisis Residential services as provided at and identified location within Clare, Gratiot, Isabella, or Mecosta Counties, primarily. MSHN is specifically seeking new Providers to provide Crisis Residential Services in the Clare, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta counties area and/or a current PIHP Network Provider who is interested in expanding or re-locating to the identified region.

Services must be designed to resolve the immediate crisis and improve the functioning level of the beneficiaries to allow them to return to less intensive community living as soon as possible. The covered crisis residential services include:

a.         Psychiatric supervision
b.         Therapeutic support services
c.         Medication management/stabilization and education
d.         Behavioral services
e.         Milieu therapy; and
f.          Nursing services
 

The bids will be for an initial contract period of September 15, 2021 through September 30, 2022, with an expected contract renewal for FY2023 beginning October 1, 2022.
